Georgina Luck is a freelance illustrator working in Brighton, UK. She studied at the Bristol School of Art and graduated in 2006. Luck currently illustrates across a wide range of platforms including packaging, book jackets and outdoor media. Luck's clients: The New York Times Magazine, Marks & Spencer, Tesco, Saatchi & Saatchi, Future Publishing, Gatwick Airport, Friends of The Earth, Parragon Books Ltd, Pan Macmillan, Town & Country, TAM Airlines, Picador, SPANA.

Georgina luck has a big portfolio, focusing on drawings and paintings of packaging, magazines, typography, illustrations and she also has done some portraits.
This particular illustration of the colmans mustard does not have a title for it but is in a project portfolio of classic british food packaging. I feel that this illustration has been done to advertise her own work on her website to companies looking for paintings and illustrations to go on there packaging

Luck uses wide ranges of colour in her work and uses ink to blend colours and also splats ink around her drawings. She uses ink and this technique of splatting the ink in all of her drawings and paintings. Luck uses many different formal elements like line, tone and colour. She uses a very unique technique when drawing her lines, Luck uses a sketchy continuous line technique. Luck uses tone and different gradients when blending her inks to give a 3D effect to the object. I really like lucks unique style of work. I like how she blends and splats inks, I feel that this makes the drawing stand out so that it doesn't look flat. I also really like how georgina Lucks work is all handmade, because it shows her really impressive and unique sketchy line effect.
