Magazine Photo Shoot

1. What did you do? Include what you did last lesson and today in your group. What did you have to organise?
Last lesson we got told that next lesson we were going to have magazine photo shoot and we had to incorporate the style of Andrea Bricco and Henrik Bonnevier. In todays lesson we chose to focus our photo shoot around the theme of cosmetics. We had a selection of nail varnishes and cream and we thought of the idea to draw a eye in chalk and also use typography by writing make up in cream on black sugar paper. We then placed the objects in a group by the typography and the eye. This was our result (inspired by Andrea Bricco):

For our Henrik Bonnevier inspired piece we choses light green sugar paper to place our objects on (nail varnish, lip gloss etc), we chose this paper to add more colour. This was our result:

We then also did another Henrik Bonnevier inspired piece and chose a collection of ties to take photos of. This was our result:

2. How did you do it? How did you all work together?
We worked well together using are skills to take turns focusing on different parts of the photo shoot E.g. Ana drew the eyes with chalk onto the black sugar paper. Sumaya thought of the idea to squirt the cream onto the paper to form the 'Make Up'. Werner then added his own style too the typography. I then took the photo's.

3. What went well? Did you learn anything new? Did your group work effectively? Were your photos successful?
I felt that we worked very well as a group and our photos were very successful. I feel that our Andrea Bricco inspired piece went very well because we used all our different ideas and skills and combined them to do a successful photo shoot.

4. What could you improve? Could anything have been done better? Did you have any problems?
We could of brought in more objects but I felt that we did well with the objects we had and the objects that we chose from a collection of different objects in the class.
